Diyas for Diwali!

Last week in class, we learned about the symbols and traditions for Diwali.  Diwali is known as the "Festival of Lights", so we made little candles called diyas.

Reminder to all families:  Picture re-takes are this Thursday, November 22.
If you were absent on picture day or aren't happy with the picture that was taken, make sure you are ready to smile on Thursday!

Skating Reminder - November 13th

Skating reminder for tomorrow:
- please bring a lunch to school (all students stay for lunch on skate days)
- warm winter coat
- thin hat, mittens and scarf
- snow pants (if you have them)

Skating!

In early October, our class had our first skating trip together.  We learned what size skates and helmets we need.  We had some falls, but we learned how to get back up again!  It was a lot of fun!
